Save your used stamps

Save your used stamps and support first class care In Bangladesh, families often abandon their elderly relatives when they are no longer able to earn money and with nowhere else to turn to the elderly become increasingly helpless and lonely.
The Church of Bangladesh Social development Programmes (CBSDO) runs the "Golden Jubilee Project" which provides somewhere for these golden aged people to meet, eat, receive medical care, learn new skills, and pray. To provide them with a meal costs just the price of a first class stamp.
Please support the Golden Jubilee Project by collecting used stamps. Please trim them leaving a small border. If you leave them on the table at the back of Daviot Church. I will see that they reach the World Mission Department of the Church of Scotland
In anticipation, thank you very much.
Alex Hutcheson

Daviot Flower Calander for 2010:

This is on the noticeboard at the back of the church. Please put your name on the list if you wish to provide flowers.
