Our interim moderator Rev. Robert Brookes plans to cycle around the Presbytery of Inverness raising awareness that many churches within the Church of Scotland are closing due to lack of support, ministers and frankly speaking, money. He hopes to go to each church and ring their bell. When a church does not have a bell, he will ring the Dunlichity churches’ hand bell, a church which sadly closed on 25th April 2019. All money raised will go to mental health awareness and towards the prevention of suicide. There are sponsored sheets to be found at the front of the church. Robert would very much appreciate your support and help with this. It is so important to make people aware of the churches situation, along with mental health issues.
